Caps picked up and stored for shipping

Warm headgear for the winter season

10.808 caps

For many years our friends have been knitting warm caps in and far around Eberswalde (near Berlin), which will be distributed to street children and needy people before the cold winter.
Every year the hard-working ladies break their own record. It's hard to believe, but this time 10,808 colourful and above all warm caps were produced!
Thanks to ALL who after all this time are still committed with so much heart and love ...

Frank had rented a bus from the company Sammüller in Bamberg to pick up the "treasures". As always, friends help friends got a very favorable rental price!! ;-)
Immediately after collection, the caps were packed and stored to be ready for the planned dispatch.

Many thanks to ALL who have contributed to this successful action! Only together can we realize such an achievement!!!

Jürgen reports about the distributions of caps and blankets and other interesting projects of FriendCircle WorldHelp.
A small selection of caps is displayed next to the table as an example.
Wool donations collected by Maria, Christina and Anna-Maria in and around Bamberg are carefully selected by the ladies and taken home in large bags for further knitting.
On the right we see Kerstin, a member of the German Red Cross, together with a knitting lady. For years she has lovingly taken care that the rooms can be used for knitting together and occasionally for donations of wool.
Erni and Wolfgang arrive with another trailer load from Neubrunn. These caps come from various knitting ladies from Neubrunn, Knetzgau and many other places...

All caps are diligently packed in boxes provided free of charge by Benno and his company Bike-Cafe Messingschlager in Baunach!
Many more boxes are already stored in the storage rooms of Bike-Cafe Messingschlager in Baunach. We are very grateful for that. The storage is dry and in all respects optimal!
In the storage rooms, the cartons are waiting to be transported by containers, most of them will be distributed in northern and eastern India before the cold winter arrives.
Employees of the company Bike- Cafe Messingschlager also get down to it;-)
And this is what it looks like when the precious goods are carefully packed on shelves.

 THANK YOU...
