Support of needy families and single people in Northern Macedonia

Tour to northern Macedonia in July 2022

At the beginning of July our team, consisting of Susanne, Ingrid and Andreas, flew to northern Macedonia for a week's stay. Together with our friends from last year, Orhan, Lule, Taibe, Jasemine, Mervan, Behar, Huseim and others, they will visit families and single people who are in various distress. In addition to food packages, they also buy other urgently needed things, such as medicine, a washing machine, refrigerator, etc.. Other problems that are "unsolvable" for the dear people can also be "solved" with small amounts of money - such as the accrued electricity bill or the debt with the local grocer that has accumulated for months. Very emotional moments with many tears accompany our team and show how hard some single mothers have been suffering. And also the good hearts of the local supporters are rewarded, like the merchant who beams when he gets all the outstanding debts paid in one fell swoop?

Many profound encounters in one week - thanks to our friends who had prepared a lot and took time off, everything runs like clockwork. Already it is time to say goodbye again and a smooth flight back home is imminent - even that is no longer a matter of course.

Many thanks to all friends and supporters - your contributions make all this possible.

So far, Makfire still had to wash everything by hand. It is also currently 38 degrees hot in northern Macedonia. The refrigerator and the washing machine, which have already arrived today at the 4-member family, are a great help for the mother.
The encounters are as diverse as the people themselves. But there is no lack of cordiality...
