Support for needy families

Moldova, May 2021

Yesterday, Saturday evening, our team left Munich and landed in Chisinau, Moldavia.
Together with our Moldavian friends Christina, Vitali, Igor, Victor and many more Andreas, Claudia, Gitti and Alexandra will visit many families in the City of Calarasi and the surrounding villages

Maria is a courageous young woman, ca. 30 years old. .

In 2017, she opened a tailor shop for baby and children's clothing with a loan, in which ten other women are now employed.
In a small store, the excellent clothes designed by Maria herself are sold.

Last year, however, unemployment in the region increased and hardly anything was sold in the small store. Maria had to take out another loan to buy fabrics for production, to pay the rent for the premises and to pay the salaries of the women employed. A seamstress earns about 300 € per month.

We buy vouchers for many needy families....

Olivery is a loving father and husband. You can see from his vegetable garden how hard-working the family is. He only has irregular work where he can earn money.
