++ Back in Moldova ++

Dear friends,
we hope you all are well!!
Turbulent times are behind us and the last months have changed a lot. In February, our team returned home from Kosovo just in time and in good shape.
Shortly after that the news were overturning and then came the worldwide lock down, which brought so many people in great distress...

Even if we did not report in the meantime - the work continued with the help of our friends on site:
Laos, India, Nepal, Kosovo, Kurdistan - FriendCircle WorldHelp supported the people unbureaucratically and quickly with food parcels, a water pipe and partly also clothes.
Many thanks to Sunny in India, Mingmar in Nepal, Vjosa and friends in Kosovo, Keo and Florian in Laos, Baderkhan with his family and friends in Kurdistan!
Great work!

And after long waiting and watching there is another good news:
On 28.06.2020 our team flew to Moldova. Also here, there are still restrictions on entry and it was an odyssey to find flights.
Thanks to Christina, who cleared the entry by phone in Chişinău and procured the necessary documents, Frank and Alexandra could start the next tour with a flight from Prague...

Here are first impressions a day after our arrival:

This morning there was a warm reunion with the Moldovan friends Christina and Victor. After a  welcome coffee immediately lists of the most needy families of Călărași and surroundings were established.
45 packages with basic food at 85.00€ and 45 hygiene kits at 20.00€ are ordered in shops.
Due to the general crisis, a newly founded sewing shop for baby and children's clothes with eight women has hardly any orders at the moment. Therefore, 20 vouchers of 50 € each are bought for families with small children. These can then be redeemed in the small shop :-)
